For her Cinéma Invisible project, Heleen Van Haegenborgh went to the IICADOM or the International Institute for Conservation, Archiving and Distribution of Other peo­ple’s Memories, the (fic­ti­tious) archive insti­tu­tion for found pri­vate doc­u­ments of Jasper Rigole. Rigole, who grad­u­at­ed from KASK in 2004, won first prize in the Courtisane nation­al com­pe­ti­tion ear­li­er that year with his 8mm project Paradise Recollected. Van Haegenborgh used a num­ber of audio cas­settes from that archive, which were con­vert­ed into an audio play through impro­vi­sa­tion.
