Luistermaquette Concertgebouw Brugge

By NU Architectuuratelier

Installation,
Composition

This special object has the shape of the Concertgebouw, but exactly 40 times smaller. Sound artist Ruben Nachtergaele made sound recordings in literally every corner of the building, creating soundscapes that take you as a listener behind the scenes of the building. When you turn the flywheel, you can hear music by the Belgian composer Heleen Van Haegenborgh in the Concert Hall and in the Chamber Music Hall, which was specially composed for this model. Luc Roose created the mini wooden version of the Concertgebouw.
